Glide II

Last winter I decided to buy a new belt and when it came down to it I chose the Glide II over the Sequoia. So far I love it compared to my old Petzl Navaho VBOD.

The one thing I don't like is that it gets a little uncomfortable when I have to sit in it for a while, I brought this up with Buckingham and they said that they were about to release a batten seat for the Glide but I haven't heard anything else since.

So I was just wondering if anybody has heard about this batten seat, has replaced the seat with one from another saddle and just general info on the Glide II (whether owners like them or not and how well they stand up).

yeah dude go to sherilles web site and go to the clearance page. i didn't know it but they have a batten seat for the master too

Petzl sells a batten seat as an add on that will work with most amy saddle I would think.
It is designed to simply clip to your tie in 'biner, like all the Petzl gear it is light light light, and looks like the deal for long sits.
not sure if this helps guys, but just thought Id mention it, cant hurt.
Take care,

Hey
I was at Shepherds Forestry supply in Pefferlaw last week getting some stuff and saw they had the glide 2 with batten seats. I think they have a website but probably better off calling them or going to the store..... a little far from ottawa but if you really want it??

Thanks, I usually have to get things shipped anyway, the closest arborist supply is 4.5 hours away.

Both Sherrill and Safety Landry are 2 hours away from Ottawa.
