Got to replace our Mac Blower. We bought it in 2001 for $136.00 and it just didn't hold up . We are going to buy the same unit again for $132.00 plus tax.

Smallwood, Not allowed to work in cold weather??? In Ohio??

[/ QUOTE ]
Yep, heart attack in September with stents. I promised my wife I'd listen to the doctor and he said OK to resuming tree work but not in cold weather so I've got my feet up until March. The guy that climbs with me just had a baby boy last week so it all works out well for everyone. Next year if I'm still alive I'll fudge the cold weather a bit and maybe a little more the year after until I'm back to abusing my body just like before. Then I'll have another heart attack and die or retire.
Everyone needs a plan,
Phil

I can understand not being able to work in the heat, but the cold too? I wonder what the physiology is behind that. 'Bout the only time I felt like I was gonna have a HA was in the HEAT.

I guess the cold air is a vascular constrictor. The extra load is what makes geezers like me drop over shoveling snow. I agree about the heat but I didn't bring that up because I didn't want the docs giving my wife any more reason to worry. I don't think they realize how physical the job is and I didn't tell them.
