Ganberg Break -and - mend

The Granberg isn't bad for a portable, it does the job, just not nearly as quickly or smoothly. I'd definitely suggest the bench mount tools if you're going to be doing a lot of work with chains. It's been a long time since I've ran either, but IIRC, I could assemble a half dozen with the bench tools in the time it would take to use the handy for one chain.

Hmmmmm.....like how long are we talking per chain loop? I am a small operation, so it's not like I've got a whole fleet to supply. Is it a decent quality? Will I break it with semi regular use?

Look at total equipment...been going strong for over 10 years at out our place now....spin up a few hundred feet a year. $200 for spinner and breaker. Bench mount is the way to go. You realy want a solid surface to work with/on.

It you have everything set up properly and you're not counting links on every chain you could probably get 4 chain loops in 10 minutes
