Rough ride brother ! Good reminder to set those spikes good. Bounce on em. I think the transitions are the most likely place to make mistakes. Have to reset the brain/awareness to shift from bridge supported to spike supported. Looks like you came out relatively unscathed. Thanks for sharing.

When I watch videos. I watch fails more often . It's what keeps us aware. Glad your enjoying the videos , thanks for the welcome
 
that sucked. I do a fair amount of dead cottonwood with no bark removals. I am very picky about the shape and sharpness of the points. I keep a file and small vise on the truck to touch them up constantly. Not saying that's the cause here. Not the 1st time wont be the last.
