Gadgets

I was checking out this site,

and found this little gadget. Looks like it would make a good, stable, saw hanger with a spare hook for maybe a handsaw.

Looks pretty nifty, have you found a friendly dealer? Any ideas on price?

My computer wouldn't let me follow the link so I couldn't answer either of these questions.

Are you in the states? If so I couldn't find a dealer but I'm sure there are many. Those little karabiners are only a couple of bucks each. Easy to make something similar.

Hi Rupe

This is the double version of the Lucky Cargo clip which we brought in in the early summer. I didn't see a massive demand for the double version so didn't bother. Uuurrr! me thinks!

I'm not in the states, in fact i'm only about an hour away from you Rupe. I worked with you when I went and did a day for John Crawshaw and then met you again at the APF this year - hello again!

I forgot that Nod has these clips I'll purchase some from him.

Oh hi Matt. Got you now, and I was slow recognising you at the APF too, sorry about that.

I've got Toby and Chris, who both used to work for crawshaw, now working for me. Both really good blokes, don't know why JC can't hold on to blokes longer. Apparently he mostly uses his cherry picker now anyway.

I thought those clips would be good as they look very stable, most other ones swing to the side. The gates aren't likely to be very strong though so I expect they won't last long. I mostly use the petzl ones which are pretty good.

Having worked for Crawshaw I can understand their desire to leave his employment. He's a nice guy but has very idiosyncratic work practices - hard to introduce any new kit or concepts!

Please send them both my regards, I hope you are well also and business is booming.
