After some back and forth with management, it's my writing "style" that is a problem, not the content, and could lead to some "timeouts". I don't know what that means, and I don't do timeouts, so I'm voluntarily bailing out. "Managment" is not forcing it. It's gotten boring, anyway.

But if Rico forgets to mask up and starts spreading TDS around again or there's another indictment (there will be), send up the batsignal. I'll help reinforce the flanks ;)

After simmering I realized a better way to shape what I'm saying. Its been years since I had catechism classes.
There is a sin of omission sin of commission wrapped together into one. Lying and ignoring the lie is the twofer.
 
Freaking ridiculous. Luv it when someone is mostly debating the topics, and they get kicked/timed out for taking the other side. And the person doing personal attacks/name calling gets complete freedom to be as belligerent as he wants.

Rico is just the leftist version of Trump (both are assholes and excel at new calling), but that is OK I guess if it is towards the "correct" direction.

Even if he was just trolling. He wasn't the one being a bully or name calling etc. Pushing buttons sure but direct personal attacks, no.

But it is hardly just trolling when about half the population put some stock in it.

I spent close to 20 years on here. I used to contribute more, and still do if I see a post I'm interested in. Only been speaking up more regularly on political post because I see abuse of power and the unequal fairness in the threads.

No this is the only tree forum I'm part of, mostly because it stayed out of politics. And until the last few years it kept a even hand on no personal attacks or belligerent posts/threads. Other threads get shut down, yet this one keeps going because at least one admin completely agrees with it...so that makes it OK.

Attacking transgender people or gay people has nothing to do with what is being discussed, but some keep trying to weasel it into the conversation. Repeatedly. Seems to be their quest in life.
