Absolutely agree with pushing for the lesser evil. We just seem to disagree on what the actual evil is. Evil seems like it's an insurmountable tidal wave these days, to which I dont have any solutions. My goal for now is to point a finger at it for others to see.

Saying it seems to you to be insurmountable sounds to me like you've either given up, or you simply never had a clue what it was gonna take to be a part of the moving forward of this collective experiment in which we all find ourselves.

The wife of a good friend of mine is very pro-Trump. One day, not long after J6, she made a comment about wanting to join the Proud Girls (which really isn't a "thing" from what I've read.) Anyhow, her father immigrated to the U.S from the Philippines. I internally laughed at her comment and thought "Yeah, they might not be too welcoming to you. They might see you as a foreigner who's an enemy."

Youve got to understand something. America First to me means taking care of homeless vets before billions for Ukraine, making sure hungry kids go to bed with a full stomach, making sure tax paying/law abiding citizens come before immigrants, etc etc etc.

You had me until you started talking about taxpaying/law abiding citizens coming before immigrants. Statistically, immigrants are more likely to be taxpayers and law abiding citizens, given the chance. I mean, look at your own parents, right?
The cheeto's tax records are public info, and we know he is full of shit; one of the bigger tax dodgers around.
We're basically all the descendants of immigrants, so get outta here with the xenophobia.

Edit to add: I hope you also understand that to see the reality where we don't have hungry kids in this country, and have money to help vets, we're gonna need to share, and generally with some proportionality. This means we need to tax the rich, which is the opposite of what the cheeto did.
