Fu*%face Von Clownstick

The president of the United States has just been caught dead to rights engaging a foreign government in hopes that this foreign government will help him win political gain over his political opponent in an upcoming election. It appears that Trump also employed his own State Department, DOJ, and personal lawyers in this feloniuos, treasonist, and impeachable scheme. Now is the fucking moment folks. If this doesnt do it the American way of life is dead......

From a UK paper this morning: 'The chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, also said the memo “reads like a classic mob shakedown”.
“Nice country you got there,” he quips. “It would be a shame if something happened to her.”

I don't see how it can be read any other way. Trump withholds millions in aid, then reminds the guy how much the US does for the Ukraine, repeatedly, then comments that there is not much done in return, and finally asks for a favour involving investigating Biden and his son, Biden being his main political rival. The whole tone is a veiled threat. Trump promised a complete and un-redacted copy of the call and, of course, it was just hot air, just like when he said he would release his tax returns once the audit was done. What was released was heavily edited, a 'summary'. There is only one reason not to release the whole thing, which would have immediately defused the situation for Trump if he was innocent of the intent to strong arm the Ukrainian president, namely that the full content shows he is not innocent of this. But even in the edited version, his intent is plain. This behavior is outright treasonous. He is again asking for help from a foreign power to undermine our democratic process and gain an unfair advantage in the election. Actually, he is not even asking, he is threatening the guy to help if the Ukraine wants US aid.

Anyone but a fucking Trumpster would come to the same conclusion you have Burrapeg. Time to end this presidency now! Nightly night Donny.....

Speaking of a shakedown.... from the Washington Post:

"And then there is Joe Biden. In 2016, the then-vice president threatened to withhold $1 billion in U.S. loan guarantees to Ukraine if the government did not fire the country’s top prosecutor, Viktor Shokin. According to the New York Times, “Among those who had a stake in the outcome was Hunter Biden … who at the time was on the board of an energy company owned by a Ukrainian oligarch who had been in the sights of the fired prosecutor general.” The Post reports that it is “unclear how seriously Shokin — who was under fire by U.S. and European officials for not taking a more aggressive posture toward corruption overall — was scrutinizing Burisma when he was forced out.” But what is clear is that Biden bragged about getting him fired, declaring last year: “I looked at them and said, ‘I’m leaving in six hours. If the prosecutor is not fired, you’re not getting the money.’ Well, son of a b—-. He got fired.”

Bucknut, I don't think Biden has my vote either. Both Democrats and Republicans have better choices for the nomination of their parties in 2020. Given what it costs to run for office in this country, we are limited to representation by EXTREMELY wealthy people or those who enjoy massive support from contributions. The bigger campaign contributions to candidates come largely from self-interested groups like the insurance industry, the IRA, huge corporations, and these politicians are in their pockets rather than feeling any empathy towards the ordinary American. It is hard to find extremely wealthy people who are also nice, caring folks. You don't usually get rich or powerful in American business or politics by being nice. It is a ruthless playing field. We have a micocosm of that right in our own small group; look at what Weaver is doing to Richard and his MiniSAKA-max. It behooves us to look carefully at candidates of both parties when we prepare to cast our votes and support. The whole Washington scene has a rotten underbelly.

Thats all well and good Buck, but please tell me what the fuck any of that has to do with the fact that Trump was caught red handed asking a foreign leader to use his government to investigate a political opponent, and the man most likely to run in the presidential election of 2020. This goes against the very foundations of our democracy. It goes against our rule of law, and goes against our constitution. Trumps is the very man our founding fathers wrote the articles of impeachment for. He is the very man our founding fathers were trying to protect us against. Foreign influence on our democracy, dishonesty, emollients, corruption, unlawfulness, profiting from the presidency, and the utter destruction of the institutions which are there to protect us from a person such as Trump. You name it and Trumps done it. Your support of this man is fucking shameful bro.

I get Bucknut's point, that there is corruption and misdeeds with both parties. I would agree with that. I certainly was no fan of the Clintons. But Trump goes way too far. He is a total loose cannon, guided chiefly by his own grossly inflated ego and personal business interests. He has severely tarnished the dignity of the office with his crude, tactless behavior. He is simply selfish white trash disguised with money. He absolutely has to go, either through impeachment or else massive landslide defeat in 2020, before he does even worse irreparable damage to our economy, democratic institutions, and our image abroad.

Game fucking over folks- Massive abuse of power followed by a massive attempt to once again cover up our presidents serious misdeeds (original tape of conversation deep sixed). That's right mutherfuckers, there was apperarantly a tape of this conversation. This conversation was 30 minutes long. Does the memo that the Whitehouse released yesterday take 5 minutes to read? Fuck no!! More heads than Trumps are gonna roll on this shit sandwich. Time to see if the Repub's truly value Trumpism more than America?

LOL. No, let him keep hanging himself with his own big mouth! He thinks he is above the law entirely and everybody loves him. It was a certainty that he would sooner or later go too far, even for most of the GOP.
Its yet to be seen if he will ever go too far for the GOP. If I didn't know better I might come to the conclusion that the GOP are a bunch of democracy hating, rule of law bashing, America loathing, pathological liar loving, devil worshippers?

...did not fire the country’s top prosecutor, Viktor Shokin.

Viktor Shokin was replaced by Yuriy Lutsenko who did investigate Burismo and Hunter Biden's role at the company... he has publicly stated that niether Joe Biden or Hunter Biden did anything against the law, and that, in fact, all of the allegations against Burismo were for events that took place two years before Hunter Biden had anything at all to do with the company.

Joe Biden insisting on Shokin's removal was part of demands by both the US and European nations who wanted him removed because of numerous corruption scandals he failed to do anything about or investigate.

"The National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) said an investigation was ongoing into permits granted by officials at the Ministry of Ecology for the use of natural resources to a string of companies managed by Burisma.
But it said the period under investigation was 2010-2012, and noted that this was before the company hired Hunter Biden.
“Changes to the board of Burisma Limited, which are currently the object of international attention, took place only in May 2014, and therefore are not and never were the subject of (the anti-corruption bureau’s) investigation,” the bureau’s statement said." -- Reuters

Kurt Volker has quit... another fly drops off the shitpile. One can only wonder why Trump's appointed Special Representative for Ukraine Negotiations would quit his job just days after the latest scandal.

He had served as the executive director of the McCain Institute, which aims to make a difference in people's lives in the areas of "...leadership development, human rights, rule of law, international security and combating human trafficking..." (from their website, emphasis mine) which might indicate that he had strong feelings about what constitutes appropriate behavior from a representative of the United States. Or, maybe not so much. The whistleblower receiving all the press lately has indicated that Volker "...visited Kiev with U.S. Ambassador to the European Union Gordon Sondland and met with Zelensky and other political figures the day after the call and that readouts indicated they did so to “navigate” demands made by Trump" (again, emphasis is mine).
So, it might be that Volker wanted to be the first rat to jump this particular sinking ship. Earlier, House Democrats announced that they have scheduled Volker to give a deposition. Probably just a coincidence.

The wife and I have alway felt that it would be the intel community that were eventually gonna be forced to step up and speak up, bringing this lawless Prez down. It appears that there is a group within the intel community that have had enough of witnessing Trump throw the interest of America under the bus in favor of his own interests and those of foreign nations. I reckon the flood gates will begin to open up and the depths of Trumps impeachable activities will be fucking startling... Can you imagine what the conversations between Trump, Putin, and the Saudi Prince look like?
