Did I miss a post about someone saying no one should be deported? I don't advocate illegal immigration but also think the Great Fortification of Solitude Wall is quite ridiculous.
 
I also feel that if you're here to stay, become a citizen.

Intersting note on that subject, new citizens who go through this process end up being more knowledgeable about or govt, constitution, bill of rights, etc than many so called natural born citizens.
 
lol did I say I want a wall built? Has everything I said been met with opposition on the illegal immigrants? I'm making assumptions because no one is giving their take on the subject and just calling me wrong. I don't feel it's tricky. If you come here illegally you run the risk of getting caught and made to leave.
 
Correct. And someone responding to you isnt necessarily an indictment on things youve posted nor is someone speculating as to what is going on in your head. Its a discussion, points and counter-points are being made. Go back and read ALL my posts in this thread that werent directly responded to and respond to each if you care to. Same for everyone else's for that matter. Your comment kinda came out of left field given what was going on around it.
 
I think you have to set up a clear and strict pathway and program for those currently here illegally for citizenship or they get deported. I'm guessing this is basically the illegal immigrant amnesty program that has been discussed. For those who then come forward for this process, they would then be subject to the same taxation and laws as the rest of us.

The alternative is creating an ARMY of INS agents and increasing the beaurocracy that would be needed to carry it out. Would these agents be going door to door and jobsite to jobsite to find illegals then? Sounds like a police state working under the premise of racial profiling. And expensive. And a 1500 mile wall sounds expensive to. How is all this going to be paid for?

I don't think it's understood by many at all. Including many Hillary voters, and definitely not by the insufferable anti-Trump protesters. Just yesterday Rahm Emmanuel (mayor of Chicago, former Obama right hand man) said that he didn't care about the election results; illegals could expect to feel welcomed and remain entitled to every benefit the city offers, because Rahm's Chicago would be a sanctuary city forever.

Conservatives are called racists on a daily basis, literally, simply for suggesting that illegals who are caught be deported.

Either we have laws or we don't. Half of America is sick of being called racist.

Anthropogenic forest decline is very much a reality no matter where you sit on the climate fence. Evidence shows pollution carried by rain is depostiting acids, heavy metals, and numerous other nastiness in forests changing nutrient availability and toxicities. I've read some of Kevin Smith's work on this.

Rolling back environmental progress and policies made (not enough I know) is not the proper response but that has been a platform point for Trump.
 
Both lousy places to live for the lower classes. Dirty, over populated, polluted, poor, etc.

State and Local govt rights against the federal govt. Sacred pillar of the Republican party. I dont find deportation racist. Its the law.

You sir, are a gentleman and a scholar. And a real rarity these days: a citizen educated and articulate enough to apply law to facts absent emotion.

They are not. Not even close. In some cases it's lack of resources due to sheer volume, especially if the infraction is minor. Honestly, even the Feds can't afford to deport every illegal arrested in a year. Those with potential terror ties or serious crimes are prioritized.
