FTC Klik N'Ka spurs

Try before you buy if at all possible. Or have a good return policy. The right fitting and design of climbers can be a joy to work with, or, misery.

They look to have replaceable gaffs - a plus. Appear to have a similar heavy straight line as Climb Rights. And I've read a number of people unhappy with those.

But, I don't know anything about these for sure.

I have the older red Gecko UltraLight Aluminum Gaffs, (nice sized calf muscle shroud) which according to ArbSession are not made any more as of about 2020.
But, if you have sorta nice ones like the Notch Climbers 2.0 (calf muscle shroud is a bit to large circumference for peoples, with smaller diameter legs like myself), make sure to get these straps, very comfortable, they're wide and soft enough over the top of the foot, where they don't cause pain, over long duration of use.

Those straps are awesone. Distribute pressure beautifully. Allows for a nice firm fit with 0 discomfort.

FTC makes good stuff, but I already know I won’t like those gaff points, and I’m not so sure about the clicky straps.

Anyone remember the Wolf Claw spikes from maybe 20 years ago? I thought they looked so dope in the Sherrill catalog, but I found a few reviews that convinced me not to bother. The pic doesn’t have the ratchet straps but I’m pretty sure it was an option.

I bought some of those wolf claws too, they weren’t real comfy. And the back strap got in the way occasionally when doing oak removals or anything that wasn’t just a straight up pole.
