He's absolutely right.
I buy everything with my credit card over the internet. Did I have any problems? Yes I did. Visa called me once because they got suspicious over a purchase way above my limit. They then cancelled my credit card and issued a new one with a new number which I got within three days. I admit that if they had paid out it could have taken up to two months to get my money back, but that's the worst thing that could happen. It's impossible to lose money this way. The credit card company will always pay you back. That's why all this security issue is their concern, not ours. As a vendor (I also sell equipment online) I'm very happy that people still don't trust using their credit card. It saved me, up to now, a lot of hassle with secured connections and agreements with banks. As a buyer though, if a site doesn't accept credit cards online I simply go shop somewhere else.
