For all those with kids

Use those 2 weeks to help your wife. Use the next couple of weeks trying to agree on a system that can work for the two of you after you go back to work. If you do too much, your wife is going to be overwhelmed when you go back. Ask some family and friends to be available as best they can when you go back.
You know your body, make sure you listen to it throughout this. Twin boys....they are going to need a healthy Dad.
so, be safe and enjoy the best time in your life.
Also, see if your wife will pump. If yopu can freeze some of it, you will be able to give your wife well deserved breaks every now and then. That is if your wife is going to breastfeed.
Good luck, God bless and let us know.

I have three boys under the age 5. I am the sole-provider of my family and my wife stays home.

One thing I HIGHLY ADVISE is the usage of PPE!--Yep! Earplugs while sleeping works great. /forum/images/graemlins/beerchug.gif

At first my wife didn't like the idea, however, she saw that if I didn't get my sleep I got sick, cranky, and worst of all lost work. So, she took the responsibility of getting the babies at night.

However, I did not abuse this great luxury. I did help when she was sick or was just not getting enough sleep.

And yes, sleep deprivation can be dangerous! /forum/images/graemlins/bangtard.gif

Hey notahacker, thanks for the tip. I have a stockpile of earplugs in my night-stand, am also the sole-provider and I am in Colorado (Louisville).

Weird.
