Footlock Prussik Splice

Seems like splicing is in now that winters' here. I just spliced this - locking brummels in Samson Ice. Any critiques/suggestions welcome - I'm a beginner. Thanks!

sort of - didn't quite get the lengths right so they don't crossover much. Is that ok? I did a locking brummel on both ends - the whipping style I took from the Samson website -

thanks! i'm learning from anywhere i can - i got my first lessons from Martin Morales out in CA - but that was a few years back. This was my attempt to "re-activate' some of the stuff he showed me. only splice for myself ask the masters like Mr Hartenburg and Mr Hattier if you need custom splicing

The Spring Splicing Symposium is a great place to learn this splice (and a lot more)

Info soon to come. Rich and I were discussing some of the arrangements today.

Still, a cool splice. I think I'm going to try one of these in addition to the end to end Ultra Tech foot lock prusik. These are a lot easier to make to!!!
