I think thats what its called. what is the short rope called that you put a metal ring on each end? you make a prusik with it on your climbing rope thats installed in the tree. then you get another rope and put it through both rings and make your hitch and you can foot lock. Does anyone know what that small rope is called and could i get it from sherrill made with the rings on it?

They can be made out of lots of different types of rope. I use HRC (therma shield) from new england ropes and tie scaffold knots to the rings. Fast to make and pretty cheap too.
