finally the season started and I got to use my new Vermeer sc60tx. pretty much anything under 24", takes less than 5 min; 24-30" maybe 5 to 15 min. Just did a 50 inch white oak died last year, 30 min. all grind at least 6 inch below grade. I have to say, WOW! I'm definitely happy with my new investment! Erwin

I've had mine for probably 10 years (and bought it used), and only have had minimal issues with it. Only major thing I've had to replace is one of the hydraulic planetary drives for the track. 924 hours on it now. I love the straight axle drive to the cutter wheel, collapsible tracks, and 60 hp. i'm using the original Vermeer yellow jacket teeth now. It looks like decent design. I might upgrade to newer after market system after next year if the stock is not good enough. with more practice i'd do better with time per stump. pretty happy for now about the 21K I put in. Getting a after market remote system on it soon.
