I just noticed sj_treeguy has a front stabilizer as well. His setup seems short as well. What are other guys doing for counter weight?

Keep in mind that you will have some weight with the hooklift frame, pumps, cylinders etc even without anything installed on the hook. But yes weight can easily be added (concrete box etc), and/or a front bumper outriggerThe reason Iam trying to add weight to the rear of the truck so i can work off the front also. Hook lift would be awesome! But if the box is off i would lose the counter weight? Maybe i could add a custom rear bumper 3" thick? My truck is pretty short thus the need.
He told me, that he didn't have to add any weight to his truck due to the front outrigger and the weight of his dump (thick gauge metal)...full capacity at 360 degrees.I just noticed sj_treeguy has a front stabilizer as well. That I can't recall, or know.My dumps going to be 12'-13'. I wonder what size his is and how much weight it added?

almost any chain or cable rigging supply house can get you any sale fabric slings you should want.Sry last picture was of my eye to eye slings in the shipping box. They are reverse eye slings with a protective layers... I could only find them at a couple places online.
Where I got them - http://www.uscargocontrol.com/Lifti...ng-Reversed-Eye-3-inch-wide-6-feet-long-2-ply
If you are going with endless slings, you have a lot of places you can buy them.![]()

Thanks! I believe it's between 30 and 33ft. Not great but it gets the job done.

Hmm.. I was going to ask about the Manual pull out.The two manual pullouts on the PJ080 jib sure are nice... I wish my PJ100 had better manuals for it. Going from the last hydraulic section 1300lbs to the first (and only) manual 800lb is a heck of a drop, and doesn't make sense from a stability standpoint (the limiting factor is the manual's strength, not the crane's stability).
