I have one non husky saw and that is my little echo cs3000, the rest are huskys.
2 350's
1 55 rancher
1 365 w/28" solid nose woodsmans pro bar.
I don't mind carrying any of these aloft, but the 365 gets abit akward when I get into the large leads at height. But, I do it all old school, no buckets, hardly a crane, just mucho laboro.
Husky makes a fine product that doesn't hurt my arms to use, where as Stihl always makes my forearm swollen about 4 inches from my wrist. I think it is because of improper balance. But, that is only my take on it.
Be safe,
Adam

Steve, you WILL love that saw I guarantee it. My 046 was the first saw I bought in 1999, I hope to retire it to firewood duty next year so that when my grandkids are pruning/removing trees with lasers I can show them grandads first saw and what 'real arborists used to use'.

Well I unleashed the beasts and all I can say is WOW..............Ed Heard knows his saws! My video feature on my camera isn't working (have to take it in for warrenty repair), when it's back up and running I will show ya'll what a saw should run like! Ed says that the saws will continue to gain for quite awhile.......they are awesome right now! I am gonna have to get some warning stickers made for these animals!

rborist1, what exactly is done to these saws (beasts)? Port and polish? Super-charger? /forum/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

ticking over, got dealt a bit of a blow yesterday though......had my brand new ms200t and blower stolen from the work site. really could have done without that, ive spent enough money the past couple of weeks without having to replace brand new saws.
regards to work.....just trying to get my name about at the moment....ive worked for a few different companies but hopefully i'll get an advert out soon and start picking up some of my own work.
just got my new truck....well used anyway, im now an official member of the LDV club!!

Bad luck about the saws. Let me guess, Pikeys? I've been lucky for a few years now, but when it happens its always when you least expect it.
Well done on the LDV. They suck and rock in equal measure. How about a picture?
Good luck with it all.
