Face masks

We can put a man on the moon - but we cant come up with anything the works for foggy glasses!!!!!
try what I do for a swim mask, spit in it and rub it all over the lens (inside), try to get the streaking out, then wash those nasty glasses at the end of the day

I only wear my normal glasses when I climb, since safety glasses arent an option so I dont fog up, safety squints FTW

Couple years ago I sprang way too many $$$ for prescription safety glasses thru our optometrist - best thing I ever did - no fog ski goggle wipes and clarity again. Bausch and Lombe - $$$ but worth it.
one day I will probably get contacts, allowing me to wear safety glasses

Actually contacts are not recommended at all in dusty environments. Safer option is the prescription safety glasses. If you ever get garbage under the contact lens you’ll want to rip it off your eyeball if you can keep your eye open to dig it out. Eyewash doesn’t always work to float it off the eyeball either. Thats policy in huge process companies based on bitter experience . . .

Never knew that some companies did not permit contact lenses, I’ve been wearing mine through everything I’ve done for the past 18 years with no real issues.

Dusts (or chemicals) make contacts a no go. Safety departments at the likes of Shell etc follow this as standard plant practice. If you go to Freeworkers website in Germany they show a bunch of air purifying full facepiece respiratory protection - I assume for pesticides/fungus/ weird wood dusts etc. Haven’t seen these over here but they might make contacts a possibility. Seems cure would be worse than the disease though. The prescription safety glasses are my go to, even over contacts, because they keep the depth perception etc. exactly the same as your regular glasses. Plus if you need em you can get them in a graduated prescription ( like bi or tri focals). Way harder for contacts. We’re in a dry dry climate too so contacts are generally a pain. But its just me. Cheers
