Excellent climber thread

I think that pushing yourself out of your comfort zone, in a safe manner, should be considered. As arborists, we are constantly hit with new challenges in a dynamic work space. That oak/elm/pine that you are set to knock out tomorrow might have a hazard that no one else but you, the climber, must manage and over come. It might be something you have never come across before, but as the climber we are the critical link in making it roll out without any issues.
The things that have made me the climber I am today, we're the things that pushed my skills, and creativity to its limit. With out pushing out personal envelopes, we can not become our absolute bests.

Don't leave things in the tree and ask other climbers to get them. It falls right along with being aware of what is going on in your jobsite and being well organized.

I have done it quite a few times, and I know it is irritating. If the second climber is working, I just get my own junk.

Of course, sometimes I get to finish his trees if something is more technical than it looked from the ground...
Yeah. Finish your own trees, too.
