Euc limb over lake

But, I'll be the one to pee in the punch bowl...

I'm not digg'n the sound quality on the camera. It sounds like someone is capturing video with an underwater camera. Super loud when stuff hits the device and super low for voice and saws.

Jman.....oh nevermind

The POV...now that takes some nice footage!

It does! But, when I finally get around to purchasing a POV cam, I'll give serious consideration to the Contour HD. Looks to be a quality unit, has a good wide angle lens, is HD, and is a fair bit cheaper than the VIO.

For now, all my focus and $ is going to my growing quiver of SLR gear. Have added a 21 megapixel 5D Mkll, an awesome 100mm Macro that has IS, and am soon getting the 7D, which is great for action and long shots.

It is amazing how groundsmen sometimes don't get what's going on with rigging. It's as if they didn't get the memo. I too can get frustrated with this. But, I've learned to communicate everything I anticipate the load doing prior to cutting. And I understand, sometimes they still just don't get it...

Looked fun!

Running ropes can be hard and stressful. Sometimes its hard to see what's going on up there and sometimes its not possible to talk to each other over the chipper and stuff. It takes a while to get a team working together seamlessly and sometimes people just don't mesh. Let's not put down the groundmen. There are groundguys, climbers, and equipment operators that sometimes just don't get it but from what I've seen they don't stick around.

I agree. Let's not put down groundsmen.

Did I put down groundsmen?

Man. I gotta up my game. Because if I really wanted to put down groundsmen, I would have really used stronger words than that...

It's amazing what people can infer when reading text.
