Has anybody climbed on this that could share their opinions good/bad? Saw some recently at expo, and it looks real nice, with good specs…. Curious how it performs in real world production mode? Thanks-

Edelrid has been around for over 100 years in Europe but has only just begun selling its products in the States. I use their Tree Core harness and absolutely love it. Also, they make the absolute BEST throw line “cube” I’ve ever used. While I don’t know anything about the rope in question, I’ve found great products from Edelrid that have been high quality.
 
Their throw line cube, and throw line are incredible. I had a pro form threw them so I ordered 200’ woodpecker, it looked legit at TCIA, and yeah they’ve been in the rope making business forever….. how “crap” could it really be?…

Not new or veteran. Srs primarily. As I said someone told me it wasn’t a great rope. Maybe it had to do with construction and pisspoor performance with multicenders
 
I’ve used an srs specific rope they make, as well as their Direction Up double braid. The srs line (can’t remember the name) is good, pretty standard stuff. Their Direction Up was quite disappointing- its jacket is fragile.

Sadly, none of that addresses your question.
