Edelrid folding helmet

My helmet doubles as a mighty sandwich protector. I don't think that would work for me.

Nice.

I think the point is for folks who need to hike into places. So, the last thing you want is a bulky helmet taking up space (in your pack)on your approach to the real climb.

Would I get one. Not for my line of work. Still, you gotta give someone credit for being creative!

I would think more aboutconserving pack space when flying off to a climb location-If you are hiking in just set the bloomin' thing on your head.

You would think that would be the case, but it is too smart of a solution for some.
