Here’s one from job earlier in the year folks, where I did a one-off crane-job for a company called Ecos, a bunch of Lombardy poplars, easy stuff really.

The company mainly do work in woodlands and remote areas, hence the little tracked chipper you’ll notice. Nice bunch of guys though, everyone cool and relaxed throughout.

Unfortunately much of the footage and as it turned out, my camera, due to the rain in the early part....but I still got enough to show some close-up cutting and lifting. Much the same stuff in other words. Its actually taken me until just recently to put the footage together. Thanks

very skilled work there Reg, one of those picks looked pretty big, what was the weight on that last piece at around 4.50 in Part 1?

Thanks

Chris thats the 3120 at the end.

Grover, I cant remember as it was a while back but I think they were all under 5ton.

Nice work, as usual, Reg. Looks like fun working in the rain, not really. Does that chipper travel on a trailer or does it have wheels somewhere?

Thanks

The chipper needs either a trailer or a set of ramps to drive it up onto a truck. Most have top attachment points also, so if you had a crane truck you could pick it straight up and sit it in the back.

All being well Casey I will be there, be good to catch up, cant believe its been a year.

Here's a handful of pine picks from the week before. Thanks again
