Just got back from the crane workshop the guys from Eartec where there with a full display of their radios and different style head sets, they also brought a demo set(two to four radios in a set)we had four radios in the set, one for the crane op,one for the instructor, one for the climber and one was on a loud speaker for the class to hear.If you do crane work these are the best, super clear, easy to use , great range! After the class i was able to use a set on my crane job today my guys did not see a use for them but they put them on anyway, after the first pick they would not take them off all day. It's a piece of equipment well worth the investment for safety on the job.

Hey Derrick, the crane op was useing the monarch and also the ultra double. The bucket op was useing the slimline without hearing protection,I was useing the monarch with the ear muffs on my kask helmet(did not work that well) my ears hurt all day.I like the ear muffs because they keep my ears warm,if that is not a problem the monarchs will work with ear plugs. You do know if you buy a second set of muffs that fit your helmet and send them to eartec they will install the mic and speakers in that way when you have a need for them clip um on and go all the other times use the first set that way your not fighting the wire hanging in your way.
