Let me explain....I dont have much in the way of pics of me in a tree working. That pic and these to follow were taken by a bystander @ Krause Springs in Spicewood Texas. I was taking our gear out of 120 ft. Bald Cypress. Thanks for the feed-back Mark. I dont know if you remember me from Waco Texas, but you were talking about the "High Line" you placed between two trees to access the one that had fell between. Well this is from September of 2005 when I had my second chance to preform this rigging tech. The job was to remove a Black Walnut from a cliff edge above the spring feed pool. So my crew and I set a long rope from this cypress to another across the pool. About 200ft. We used that for the ol tie in spot and also used it a couple of times for lowering debrit. a little bouncy a couple of times but got to freefall most of the debrit into the pool. Awesome job except for the poison ivy I got. Here are a couple more pics.
