I use by one year and one of the positive things is that instead of other mechanical device it hasn't teeth so in case of shock the limit of damage ropes is more high...

I like the idea of the prussik due to the simplicity. Due you use one per rope on double line tech or are you able to use one knot for both lines?
Last time I tryed it, it wouldnt work over doubled ascenders- bound up

when foot locking on a Ddrt with a mechanical acender you must tie a hitch of some sort on each line or it wont work. The reason for the backup is if one cam opens on you your gonna fall so each line must be backed up independently. if a prussik is binding up on you I have to ask how many wraps. 4 would be the minimum requirement and if that still binds up try a distel or a taut line hitch or maybe a different chord.
