Does anyone else completely loathe climbing pine trees?

20181031_112703.webpLove working in white pine, the mess is what it is. Rope grab over hitch for lanyard due to pitch, I use hand sanatizer for cleaning off safety glasses. These pasture pine were both hanging over the house, wood shed, septic tank, heat pump, propane tank, and well. Two of us had so much fun with rigging these but coulda charged more...

I keep a hms biner just on pine removals for when my hitch totally seizes and I’m forced to undo my wrench and munter down.

Skinning out a pine pole to rig adjacent trees from is great unless you can’t take the pole down until the next day. Day two of a pine removal is truly awful.

A can a WD-40 works wonders on yellow pine. I love my Zig-zag when working in Loblollies. A little WD and you’re good to go. Just be prepared!
