Do Inmates Need PPE?

Perhaps this is why we're not the low bidders on city work.

Tree Work For Inmates

I had to get a truck VIN verified by the local sheriff's department and I looked at the trees in the front of the jail and I had to ask "Who turned your trees in the front into a hat rack? He simply replied "Well you get what you pay for, We had the inmates do it."

just another slash to our industry if you ask me. Not understanding the measures we take as pros. What a bunch of crap. And I bet this city is working hard on going "green". To answer your topic...YES all tree workers need PPE. I am on the board for our tree advisory committee and I brought the attention to our board regarding using local line clearance crews instead of farming out to out of state companies and was told you just cant beat the prices they offer...by the way, most are all hispanic. HMMMM wonder if they all have GREEN Cards? In a slow economy you would think we would all look to each other locally to create our own "stimulus"....hang in there, this too shall pass

LMAO!!!!!

You do realize this industry started from inmate training. Do a history check on who the line companies used to trian to do the work, then would give the released jobs. Glad to see Tree work getting back to it's roots.
