I just tried a pair on Saturday. Like to throw them in a chipper. Did not like the way they bit in and though they were short on my leg, they hurt like hell. Give me my old bashlins any time.

I'm asking $400 shipped. These are a spare set. I'm running a stripped down crew these days, so they are sitting around here not getting used.

Got it. Bashlin great. DMM shit. Another valued opinion from the fuckin peanut gallery. Maybe you should have adjusted them? Thanks for sharing though!
All you big wood guys are alike. Pull your head out and breathe once in a while would you. Your wonderful Gecko's don't adjust high enough. Still don't like them.

Yet another completely inappropriate post on someone else's classified add. Please go away, and let me sell some spurs. Pretty Please!

Sold to bootsmagee. I think I'm gonna have to send oldoakman half the proceeds, for gracing all of us with a little of his spur, and "big wood" wisdom. Couldn't have done it without you brother!

Nah, you keep it for your podiatrist bill. Actually I was very surprised and disappointed when I tried them out as I am a huge fan of DMM products. I expected the short shanks to be a bit painful and I didn't want to change them because of the hassle, but the stirrup pain was really a surprise. They belong to a new climber that I am mentoring and couldn't understand why he would not use them on removals. The bothered him as much as me. Good luck Boots.

Oldoakman, I can understand your love for Bashlins, as that's what I climbed in for 30 years. Great spurs no doubt. The DMM's were just more comfy for me. Just shows how different we all are. It's been fun mixing it up with ya, and I hope there are no hard feelings!
