no photo, but I used the splice for used rope, double braid. When I did my measurements on the core, I used a long fid, and a full fid instead of a short fid and full fid. The eye looks great, but I wonder if this is bad. Seems like I just buried more than I had to, or did I screw up?? Not making this for any rigging, making a 3rd buckstrap/ laynard. I splicked a double locking clip in the eye, and intended to use a rope grab on the other end for my harness.
