Dedicated splicing bench

Just curious how many of you masochistic splicing addicts have a dedicated splicing bench. I'd love to see photos of your setup. I may be moving sometime in the next 6 months or so and thinking ahead about how to set up my workspace. I'm curious about how long your bench is, cleats, clamps, posts, how you set up your tools, etc.

I have a ~10' slab of black oak in the garage. about 2" thick. Planed and sanded, finished with Odie's Oil. I used a few quarter rounds.. slices of cherry log that I flattened two sides of for brackets. Put a small underneath shelf between two, and some string between the others for hanging biners or whatnot.
Got a cleat from the marine consignment and mounted at the left end. Was given an old vise that I mounted at the right end.

Another idea I just saw was a guy had a small winch mounted on his table. He uses it to pretension the rope before beginning the splices. I could see a lot of uses for that.
Let me get a photo, gives reason for some tidying up, :)

with minimal tidying.. i present the workbench.
its not dedicated to splicing alone. mostly that and some wood working stuff. and of course rhe usual clutter. i have often wondered what the state of my workbench says about me as a man, but lets not go into that this early in a day. :)
love having this slab of oak. we felled it just off the property here and a friend milled it with me. black oak.

you can barely see the vise at the end of the table in third picture. if anyone needs cleats, I live near an amazing marine consignment shop, I can pick them up any time and gladly pass things along. they are generally about 10-20 bucks I think.
Once I clear the table, the next rope usually appears. I was given this blue rope to try out.. he said it's a pain to splice, tight jacket, HMPE core. Levante ropes. may get some work outfitting boats this Spring if I can swing it. gonna try the Class II method.
Hope you dig the bench views!

I hope not! Lol. I built this work bench a while back, then covered it with a moving blanket in fear of putting the first scratch in it. That blanket has been cluttered with tools and parts ever since. It's a 3" thick 5' long freehand milled pine slab. Planed and polyurethane

looks awesome! yea it was tough to transition my piece into a true worktable, so purty. I've put a few decent dings in it so far, that is the purpose, eh?
and I am very happy with my busy bench, I know where all the things are. it's mainly when a half-finished, stuck splice sits there for a month that I start wondering... haha
