this ulmus pumila bordered a golf course and hung over a house. check out the see through crack on the left stem. it had been like that for 2 yrs. the homeowner wanted to "save it" and had nailed bark to other wounds on the trunk! after several pleas from the course superintendent, the "tree saver" agreed to rmv. it. it was funny that this tree held up through several heavy storms while other adjacent trees failed.

All them golf carts compacted the soil for you. Not really fond of grass but your Truck sure looks good on it.
