custom eye splicing?

Howdy,

Anyone know of an affordable way to get some short lengths (25-30') of 1" rigging stable braid with a single eye splice?

i have a bunch of it just not spliced eye pm me, im looking for some one to splice a few eyes in it too.

mine may be new england doubble braid not positive, i bought it at a auctuin have a spool or two of it.

The new England stuff is super easy to splice. I imagine stable braid would be the same way. I would be happy to splice it if you guys want to ship it my way. Just let me know.

I spliced some stable braid the other day, it was definately different from the polydyne and the double esterlon I did before it. Not by much tho, just need to be a little more careful when tapering the core tail because it unravers really easy. It's like the core braid is not as tight as the outer jacket. Definitely possible tho, I imagine 1" is really easy to work with too. Good luck

So I have a question for you guys, (Nick&Jay) would you guys say tachyon is one of the toughest to splice ? I've also been curious about 8-10mm eye to eyes? Where can I find instructions for those? I can't even begin to wrap my head around it because they are so short. And I have only spliced double braid rigging ropes. Thanks in advance.

Tachyon is a bit tricky, look on ebay for 8mm viper or 10mm ocean polyester based in the uk, the seller does post internationally. They are a good price and well made, plus fast post.
