credit card

I am looking for input on a credit card suited well for an arborist. By that I mean rewards wise. A home depot credit card is useful to builders because they earn points n such towards future purchases. Are there any credit cards out there that seem geared towards us? Creativity counts.
thanks

The best reward a credit card can give you, is the lowest possible rate on balances, and no annual service fees.

http://www.bankrate.com/credit-cards.aspx is a good quick reference when your'e shopping credit cards. Consumer Reports also reviews credit cards on a frequent basis. If you don't have a magazine or online subscription, you can always find copies of Consumer Reports magazine at the reference desk of your local public library. They're completely independent of any corporate affiliations, and you can rely on their objectivity.

There's no free lunch. User points and promotions like that are designed to keep you buying stuff and revolving your balances, and to draw attention away from high rates and fees.

Thanks for some answers. This is a business card only, and used to make gear and tool purchases. I am fully aware of the need to pay the balance every month.
Crazy Jimmy, could you elaborate a bit. Is it a business card, or personal? Are you getting neat work related things with your points?
Cerviarb, I checked the site, under business cards there are some good ones, but I know folks with R.E.I. cards that get a lot of outerware n such with points etc. Secretly, there seems to be a free lunch. But only if you pay your balance that balance

American Express gives their users great rewards, but it comes out of the vendor's fees. We accept all major credit cards, but I would rather attack your face with a shovel than see an Am Ex card come out of your wallet at the end of a job. Actually, I lie and tell people we don't take it anymore. That way, I don't have to f*ck up their faces with digging tools, and they don't need to go into debt.

I like Visa and Mastercard for the speed of processing and reasonable fees. But don't even mention the word Discover around me . . . Jesus Christ, don't even let me think about it . . .

Capital One Business Card. Have had it for years and the reward points are nice. Its bought me a couple of airline tickets. Year end reports from Cap One are great to look at.
