Crack Pipe

STLTreeclmbr has the facts all wrong in that he has a distorted sense of reality and currently on probation with the company for abuse of our drug policy. So STLTreeclmbr needs to re-visit the "rules of the board" and really grasp the concept of not knowingly falsifying info posted on this board, as well as the definition of "slander"

I'm with you treedr i didn't see mention of any names on these posts. Anyways this is not a site to be hostile on or try to start arguments. This is to share knowledge and interesting facts among professionals.

So you're saying he didn't find the paraphernalia, report it to his superiors, and later have the job supervisor knowingly drive away without handling the situation in any way?

I do agree that this board should be a tool to relay and recieve knowledge using experiences of fellow arborists. However I feel that it would be irresponsible of me not to visit this subject one LAST time to present the "FACTS" of this situation, considering I have firsthand knowledge of them. First of all STLTreeclmbr and other employees were randomly drug tested on 1-3-06 the day prior to the finding of the paraphenilia,(of which the results were not so good) secondly, the NAME mentioned in his article is Jesse Knoll (so lets put on our reading glasses) finally, the supervisor did not state that "he didnt want to deal with it" it was reported to that supervisor that the crew members had already reported it to a different supervisor (as I dont believe that the company has a vice president) and were advised by him what steps to take. So out of respect to the other supervisor, Knoll did not think about the "driving back to the shop" and did not override a co-worker's decision (which is the only mistake Knoll appears to have made). So with all that being said, I hope to not have to re-visit the subject again and that STLTreeclmbr can get the help that he needs.

This thread took a slight plot twist.

I never know if drugs are a symtom or a cause of things going wrong. It is so hard to go anywhere and just see zombie after zombie. In every aspect of society.
Whats crazy is to think that while there is a crack head driving a utility truck, their are deluded Pharmecutical(insert name of drug) in every sector of the economy many with rather large responsibilities. Probably many of the harmful mistakes made over the time of human civilization have been chemically induced to varying degrees.

The best to both of you, i really hope it works out, it sounds like a tough situation for all those involved..
