Does anyone have any instructions for splicing a courant please?

What’sa soft eye splice???? Asking for a friend

Might not be the actual name but it appears the core is removed from the splice thus a soft eye (fits through a zig zag) similar to the slaice from tufelberger but no stitching

No way that’s their big secret. I’m going to order one and find out

One of the “skinny” double braid splices does eliminate the core from the eye, a couple others have a quarter of the core going through. The longer bury helps, but they are weaker than a regular class I double braid splice.

I’ve been practicing the splife and it always comes out bulky on me
