Cost to rear Mount a Forestry Truck

I'm planning on getting a rear Mount bucket or a lift in spring. I currently own a 55' altec o/c forestry bucket. Trucks excellent condition low miles,hours Allison auto, air brakes cat motor all the things I want and is paid off it is a 1999 gmc 7500 I'm second owner and trucks from California. Booms great zero issues. Question I know it's a short boom is it work making it a rear Mount and what would an estimate of cost be or should I just sell as is. We all know how hard it is to find a good clean rear Mount.

for a shop equipped with over head lifting, i don't think it would be hard. i would think some re enforcing strucual for weight of it and adding 2 more out riggers if dosent have rear one 10-15 k? i would estimate

10-20k need adtional out riggers torq box shorten wheel base and such I have done it. Fair amount of work

Thanks I think I'm good with wheel base as is I have a call into RGB for a price quote.

Should be good with wheel base like you said need to figure out specs on a torq box and find a set of out riggers

ALC quoted me about 25k to do ours when they were still in biz. We ended up buying an elevator but it's not a bad option.......

Got quote today from RBG remount and fab flat bed $22,500 i would have to take off body. Probably going to sell truck and up grade instead.
