Cool job at a ZOO.

Ok fellas I landed a very cool contract at a Zoo in my town and have to remove some very large Loblolly Pines (Pinus taeda) located in a Red wolf exhibit and another large pine in a Llama exhibit. I will post some pics tomorrow after the first day. Tomorrow is a large White Oak (Quercus alba) located over a River Otter exhibit. Im super stoked, it's my first big contract since starting my own small company. Just me and two guys but gotta start somewhere.

Congrats on the high profile job, hope all goes well, it will be a good feather in your hat

best Zoo job story i heard, . . . a buddy over in Switzerland was pruning over the Monkey enclosure. he said the monkeys hollered at him, and would pick the branches up shake em at him and throw them back at him. where was U tube back then

The way he told the story Hilarious

Awsome! Is this the Salisbury Zoo?

Nice Gig! Have fun and take Tons of pics, and a video of monkeys fist pumping for sure

It is the Salisbury Zoo. The monkeys were hibernating today. It was 11 degrees today with 20 to 30mph wind gusts. I'll bring my boombox and club music tomorrow that'll get em fist pumpin! Oh and the White Oak I did today was DEAD and no crane access. TRICKY!!

I know a guy on here who tells tale of trimming ficus over hostile White Rhino.
What fun!
