Converting New tribe pro gear II into rope bridge

Going to start a thread on the process of attempting to turn a recently acquired new tribe pro gear into a rope bridge harness.

I love the build of new tribe with their leg design, however I'm not a fan of the fixed delta.

Has anyone tried to make a rope bridge for it? I plan on doing it similar to my cougar set up with paw rigging plates. Because everything is sewn in, I will probably use small deltas to connect the leg pads and hip loops to the paw plate.

Thoughts?

I have a feeling it won't work as well as I have it mapped out, but I sure like to tinker :bailando:

Doesn't look like it will give you much more freedom of movement because the hip loops are so close to each other.

One thing you might try is tie the two hip loops together inside the sliding center dee and attach your hitch and/or climb line to the Dee ring. Your center of gravity will be a little lower but not by much. This would give you some back and forth movement if the connection of the hip loops doesn't interfere with the sliding of the dee ring.

I'll give that a try. Waiting on the paw rigging plates and omega rings to come in yet. Tried to use a 6ft piece of rope bridge, and I tied alpine butterfly knots to attach the leg straps to, however it allows the legstraps to hang to low. May try other variations of that when I have time. Will post pictures of my trials and failures.

Made this mod a few years ago. I curently use a Tree Motion Light, but my friends like the mod better than stock. There is enough room to put the bridge under the side Ds and use stopper knots to adjust bridge length. Tail ends after stopper knots are tied together in back to complete loop.
