Small company in Longmont CO looking for help with fill in contractor work or potentially full time climber. Pay based on experience and actual, real world skill. Right now I think about $350 for contract pruning is the minimum and more of course for removals depending on the removal. Don't be turned off on money. I understand what it takes to keep quality climbers and willing to pay what is deserved. We do crane work, manual removals, pruning of small, med and some large trees. We are currently a 3 man crew including myself and help with a contractor two days a week. Myself and contractor will be out of work for about a month starting 12/20. Surgery for me and baby coming for the other fella. Looking to fill in some days this month and ideally to find a competent climber willing to be an employee. ISA certification a plus or be able to get asap. I do offer paid days off, paid training, equipment allowance and hopefully a minimal stress work environment. New Bandit chipper, strong chip truck, safe and quality gear. My goal is safety, quality and then production. I want myself and all employees to have the time and the tools to do the work right and treat customers right. The work and money will come I feel.

In the summer we also remove and relocate honey bees. We remove from trees, houses, churches....pick up swarms. Any interest in bees can be met here also.

We focus on quality, proper tree care. No topping, no butchering, long term care and long term customers is what I am working towards. I don't abuse climbers and run them into the ground. I have former climbers you can talk to if you want and get your own information.

Let's talk, can't hurt. Open to ideas, always learning and growing. Maybe we can both benefit!

Thank you,

Chad Street

No one? Let's chat if any interest. We can always chat about money. I don't mind paying fairly for those that deserve it. I started this company doing about 90% of the climbing. Looking to cut this down to spend more time on the business side. My body isn't holding up like I would like either. Going in for surgery the 20th and need to cut down the physical part of my work some if I want to keep my body working. Let me know if any questions.

Thank you. Chad

Maybe. Trying to figure out what I'm doing. Have one part time guy that is great that wants to go full time but wants a lot for it. Most likely a good idea for me just trying to figure out best for me and business. What is your experience/skill level? What are you looking for now and long term? Should probably chat huh?! Thanks, Chad 720.357.1646

Man I would do it Chad if some of the other cards were right, still working on a little backlog here and can't break free til the end of this month - that doesn't help you now. Plus kids in high school can't travel so it'd be a solo run for a week at a time, fly in and rent a car and room would take half my pay just to be there. We should start an Uber style work share program for traveling climbers, unfortunately transportation and lodging isn't free no matter who covers it.

Good luck in your search.

A small travel trailer purchased at the right price could be contact climber quarters/ new transplanted worker temporary housing, and an Air B-n-B Airbnb.com rental accommodation, if your location is conducive.

A company vehicle for some after work use would grease some wheels. Is there a shuttle bus from DIA to the Longmont area? How is public transport and Uber-ing around Longmont?

Seems like a reasonable business expense that wouldn't depreciate much, of its older, but clean and maintained.
