I am considering attending the Consulting Arborist Academy and would like to hear from anyone who has been through it. I haven't done any consulting yet and I am wondering if the Academy is a good place to start. Thanks

It's a good experience if you are just starting. I attended in 1996 and it really kicked things up a gear for me. The co$$$t has gone way up--asca will wring every dime out of you they can-- but still it could be money well spent.
The forensic, ethics and litigation segments are great. The report writing segment has some problems, but good enough for intro. I'd recommend buying and using the report writing book first and see how you like doing it.
