Company Safety Manual

Hello all,
I'm very interested to see how others have tackled writing their own safety manual. Or have you used an existing document from TCIA? Are those working well for you?
Thank you! R

We wrote our own. Took a lot of time and lawyering. I would have gladly purchased one but didn’t know of any available. Also, most have their own things that are specific to them and we would have had to tweak it anyway so we took on the task. Took over a year to complete.

Has anyone bought the ANSI Standard Z133 Arboricultural Safety Standards and have a review on it? need to get started somewhere and thought it would be a good reference in building our own safety manual .

I’ve had every version since 2007. It’s crucial to writing a safety manual as it is the reference that a court would use along with OSHA for industry standards.

I was in the Z Committee for a long while. When I retired I retired from the Z too

Including the Z would be important. It’s the baseline for our work. Build on what’s included

I’ve heard different things from different people. Does anyone have a list of mandatory policies and all what policies you should have?
