company name

I very quickly skimmed the other responses.

When I read you question, the first advice I would give is:

Don't pick your name for your tree service, not your first name anyway.

For the purpose of ever selling and for the professional sound of it.

Like Pete's tree service, that sucks to me. It will take years and lots of notoriety before a common name will have any prestige to it. Yet a professional sounding name will give the feeling of a quality service even if it's a small rinky crew. "like mine, ha, ha."

Steve, if you are on the east coast (I'll look up your profile next) How about Atlanic Arborist or Atlantic Arbor. Or maybe another person needing a new name can use that one. Anything to help out the competition. Just remember where you got it.

Oh, never mind........ /forum/images/graemlins/9lame.gif

Maybe first names will give that feel of a more personable service. Someone that really cares... Who knows.

Didn't mean to offend any of you "first name" tree services out there. Was just my little opinion. We all work hard at what we've created and that can probably get touchy. Again, no offense. Just my thoughts on it.

Here in NZ we've seen some pretty funny names. Among my favourites is Tree Fellas! I kind of like it, but I'm sure some folk would think it's not as professional as others.
Oh, another funny one, Chips 'n' Chaps.
Specimen Tree Company, that's got a good ring to it.
Ega-Beeva Treez. Enough Said.
Orang-otang Tree Trimmers.
Stump Busters
The Branch Managers.
Anyway, good luck with the search!

Bodgit and Scarpa Tree Services

STS Special Tree Service " Who dares Thin's"

Lop'em and Top'em Tree specialists /forum/images/graemlins/9lame.gif

If you work in rural areas where everyone and their uncle has a saw, arborists tend to get calls for only the most dangerous jobs. In a market like that I'd go with 'Tricky Tree Service'. /forum/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

I have injured my shoulder and will be getting out of the biz. since this was a part time thing anyway no big deal. I offer to you Arbor Works Tree Service. I think it sounds just right. Yours if you want it.

i like that one, actually im into anything with arbor in it, but im really not sure if most people will associate it with tree work.
although in your case you have arbor and tree.....i'll stick it on my shortlist, thanks
