CMC HD Arbor Pro Spider Lift

Very nice looking machine, That’s the one i’m interested in. They won’t bring out a demo though. Hard to spend 100k on something you can’t try out.
I talked with tracked lifts today they also have a 72 footer platform basket. He said it’s what all the big companies use. They also have a lot of service techs.

Thanks!
It's the shipping logistics that keep them from demoing units. Are you near SE WI you can fly mine if you like. Or book a plane ticket to Boston I am sure All Access would pick you up at the airport.
So far I am pleased with the 72 HD. It's light, compact, great reach, and easy to use. There is an annoying operator presence foot pedal but that is easily bypassed with a weather sealed jumper I made, no altering the original wires what so ever. Some $0.20 from ebay. It's not a fast machine but smooth. I am not a production outfit so speed isn't really too much of a concern.

Rajan,

You mentioned the sensors on the outriggers freezing and not engaging. This happens almost daily on our 83 once we get to the very cold weather. Our solution has been to keep a Milwaukee 18v heat gun with the truck that tows the lift. Heat up the sensors and your back in business very quickly.

Thanks, I am in Pittsburgh Pa. I just found a dealer in Ohio not far from me. Take a ride up and check them out.

FlushCut.....is this 72 ArbPro a "newer" 72 version that has the upgraded hydraulics (speedier, able to control multiple operations) self level and such? I know the 84 was upgraded recently.
Glad you like it.

Thanks.

Howdy Fred, Roll back the black rubber boot on the sensor and hose it down, after it has been dried, with dry silicone spray. I haven't had an issue since. But I'll take note of the heat gun.

There three drive speeds, single boom function at the same speed, with self level. Going from function to function is really pretty smooth.
