Clue 'e'

Clue \'e\'

Just wondered if anyone had ever heard of a bit of kit known as a clue 'e' i have written it like that as that is is how it soumds when you say it clue e, the spelling may be wrong so if i can be corected - great, basically from what i have been told it is a deaf figure of eight with the middle taken out and the bottom right hand side is a screwgate connection, really a karabiner in an eight shape, so far as i know it is used by the police / special forces and they can set the line in the eight and clip straight into the harness, no need for another karabiner so no noise when you rappell, with no knots in the end of the line they just run off the rope.

Any ideas, or am i just going mad.

Try this:

That's an interesting sounding tool. Kind of a morph. Check out Storricks site. It is one of the coolest sites on the web, I think.

How are you surviving the heat? Our summer is wonderful. A little dry right now.

Drink plenty of water or barley pop,
