Cloggers Zeros

Kia Ora Everyone,

Our apologies for commenting on a social thread. We don't like to be all 'salesman like' and interrupt forum talk. So...no selling I promise...just a bit of information that may be of interest:

- The size range for the Zero trousers and the Spider Climbing trousers runs from 2xs (29 inch waist, 32 inch leg) through to 3xl (45/46 inch waist, 35 inch leg). We also offer a custom tailoring service for the perfect fit if a standard size is not suitable.

- The Zero trousers are certified to the AUS/NZ standards of 20 metres per second. We currently have some in the testing lab in the United States and expect full US certification early in the new year.

- The Spider Climbing Trousers have a hook for boot laces but the Zero's do not at present. However, the feedback we got from the TCI Expo was that lace hooks are needed so we'll be adding them to the next run of Zero trousers.

If anyone has any questions or would like any more information then please feel free to contact me. Also, your feedback on the product would be greatly appreciated. We appreciate the support folks.

My email is neil@zenitec.co.nz or feel free to call me anytime on +64 21 420 782

Kind regards,

You should come down under for summer! Should be getting nice and warm anytime now. Well........maybe not in Invercargill where we are but most other places in NZ! (see image for today's stunning office vista)!

We got a bit of the white stuff over night so I'm checking into the new hot tub soon to warm up! Then might do a little work

Now that's a much better view! But....yeah....you'd be needing a pair or two of 'long johns' under the Zero's to keep warm!

Hi Neil, thanks for making yourself available. Will the next production run have a boot lace hook on a *gator*, or be attached directly to the pant leg? I live in Florida and can buy the Zeroes as soon as the next run is ready.

Ok well I was told by Jesse aka Oak savanna about these new amazing lightweight pants from NZ mid summer, tried a pair on at the tree expo. All I can say is wow! Can't wait for summer !

Kia Ora. They'll have a hook to attach to the lace (see attached image), which is attached to the bottom of the pant leg. It's positioned in the centre at the front and the hook faces outwards, away from the ankle, so the lace keeps it in place, nice and tight. The Spider Climbing Trousers have this feature and it seems to work really well but we're open to suggestions for improvement. The next load of Zero's are scheduled to come through the factory next week and will have them added. We attached them to the bottom of the pant leg on purpose so if you don't like them they can be easily cut-off without ruining the garment. Thanks for the interest in them - we appreciate it. Neil beat me to it! I have the boot hooks on my pfanners, never use them. I guess some like em some don't. I'll leave the underwear to you! Lol. No suspender loops on mine. I'm sure they'd be able to add something if asked. As you can see Neil's watching the posts and listening and wanting to make these the best he can for us!

I might just pull the trigger on these. Since I'm in the US and they're not "required" yet my boss will not be buying them for me. I've been on the fence for a while. I've noticed these are fairly light weight and most are not planning on using them in the winter. Besides long johns underneath, would it be wrong to put a pair of coveralls on overtop?

If they're roomy enough, you can put on longjohns, then sweatpants, then the chainsaw pants. If it warms up or that's too much, just dump the sweatpants.

Zeros are a sexy looking warm weather climb pant. (y)

All this long john, sweatpants talk is turning me off :baba:, lol

I've got my eyes on a pair of Clogger Spiders. No cs protection, but that's the design & I don't need it for my climbing.

From what I hear, Clogger has a great long term reputation and their designer really is interested in what Arborists need and want. Good to read peoples experiences here.
