When I look at the CEO of the provider and see all the yachts they’re cruising around in… I feel differently about the money I’m giving them, hahahahaha!!

I’d still rather be doing what I’m doing than selling insurance….

$1038 for my GL this year but the agent forgot E&O coverage which was an additional 250.

E&O provided by same carrier of the GL? Is it really needed?

I feel like you talked about how all this got started, but then the story was left to rest... either way, that blows. Glad that your insurance handled it. Hope they don't fuck you for having to do their jobs.

Now that it’s over I can talk about it now. It was righteously fucked.
They threatened to cut our family off from the community Well if they could prove I have washed my truck with the well water.
They couldn’t find my easement so assumed it was ‘permissive use’ and they had the authority to ‘revoke permission’.
Barred me and the community from filling potholes or anything on ‘their driveway’. Since it’s the only way to our home I continued to trespass.
Moments were like the Jerry Springer show. Getting cursed out by them on my land as they proceeded to back into my tree, hitting it three times and yelling ‘If I hurt your tree you can take it off of what we are suing you for’. Got that on video. Got called a Nazi as she pulled the ‘I’m 70 and 80 lbs soaking wet, this guy is unhinged’.

We have CCR’s against commercial activity on site. One of them works from home.. white collar vs blue collar that parks a truck.
Another neighbor has a shop taxed as commercial from the county as they have a cabinet making business.
Apparently I drive the dump and chipper up and down the road 30 times per day.

Ample case law in Washington where parking a commercial vehicle on private property doesn’t count as commercial activity.

I don’t have a garage as per the CCR’s But I can walk my property line bare ass naked at any hour and not see another person or house.

Bottom line is their complaint was so vague it trigger a duty to defend from: general liability, commercial auto, and while title
Insurance covers blocked access they denied, yet homeowners insurance stepped up.

Basically these people rich bastards thought they could threaten an insane amount of legal costs to make us cave. We flipped that to a tune of a quarter million and they caved settling grossly in our favor. (Not financially as insurance won’t get you any funds just out of it).

i ended up getting climber's insurance with $1M liability coverage for $1200. glad to get that resolved . it was quite process!

I've just sorted my general life insurance and all my other cover, in this field of work it's always best to be covered no matter the price! If anyone in the the Uk is looking for cover I would recommend using Sports FS they deal with people like us in hazardous occupations
