Climbers / Arborists Needed in Dallas / Fort Worth area

[Tree Shepherds]

Tree Shepherds, a locally owned tree service company that services Denton County, Texas, and the surrounding areas, is seeking experienced climbing arborists. Full-time (Monday - Friday)

Requirements:

• 1+ years of experience as a Climber
• Excellent pruning skills
• Experience with removals
• Experience in rope and climbing saddle, and other climbing equipment
• Experience in spurs
• Experience with rigging
• Experience using chainsaws, climbing equipment, winches, and ropes
• Experience working with aerial lift devices, such as bucket trucks
• Experience working with heavy duty machinery, including chipper, stump grinder and large trucks
• Ability to maintain and repair climbing and pruning equipment
• Valid Driver’s License
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to lead by example
• Desire to be the hardest working member of the crew

Desired but not required:

• Foreman experience
• Ability to manage and motivate a crew of up to 5
• Ability to proficiently delegate work to a ground crew
• Ability to quickly analyze job site to position equipment and mobilize crew
• ISA certification

Pay and Benefits:

• $22-$25/hour
• Sick pay
