Climber Needed

[Philodendron]

Sage Tree Care is looking for a tree climber that is reliable and energetic to join our team. This individual will be safety conscious and have at least 2 years climbing trees with a rope and a saddle. Must pass drug screening and background check.

· Valid Arizona Driver’s License (CDL Preferred)

· General worksite safety and setup

· Electrical hazard awareness

· Advanced chainsaw use

· Safe rigging techniques

· Basic knots and rope operation

· Advanced felling techniques

· Basic tree biology

· Proper pruning principles and techniques including Palms

· Basic knowledge of arboriculture terms

· Proper use of equipment and maintenance

· Chipper use and safe operation

· Ability to work at extreme heights

· Tolerate a wide range of environmental conditions to include extreme heat


Ability to attain ISA Certification within 1 year of hire date.


Job type: full time, some weekends


Education: Highschool diploma or GED


Pay: Based on experience, $18-30/hour
