Cleaning art positioner

I use a product called de-solv-it. For carabiners and something small like a positioned, just fill a talenti ice cream jar, drop the piece in, cap it, and come back later. Gives carabiners that perfect snap when they come out. It hangs on a bit like a lubricant for a few days of use. Then you can add something else if needed. I had a couple carabiner get gummed up with pitch. After soaking them, they still have that perfect “plink” when closing. I’ve used it for rope runners, akimbos, even rope fiber.
